This 3-night, 2 1/2 day retreat will focus on learning stranded knitting techniques.
Our workshop will include the following:
-- how to choose colors - a brief introduction to color theory
-- learn about color dominance in 2 color knitting
-- practice ways to hold 2 strands of yarn
-- tensioning your knitting
-- following a chart
-- tips, tricks and advice on how to make your color work great!
Guests will arrive on Sunday evening, and begin projects on Monday morning. It all ends on Wednesday afternoon, allowing for 2 1/2 days of learning, fun and relaxation - without sacrificing a summer family weekend!
Blue Mountain Retreat Center is located in beautiful Washington County, Maryland, just across the Potomac river from Harper's Ferry, WV. Participation is limited to 15.
