The Cashmere Goat and Sawmill Creek Fiber Events have teamed up!

June 22 - 26, 2023

We will be sailing from Rockland, Maine aboard the Schooner J&E Riggin.  Non-knitters are welcome - there's plenty to do and see, even if you don't knit!  We'll explore the small islands, have a lobster bake on the beach and enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery around Penobscot Bay.

You'll receive yarn and a pattern for our project. Kristin (from The Cashmere Goat) and Mary will provide instruction and help, as we sail, eat, make new friends and have fun!

You must be able to climb up and down at least 4 steps and to step in and out of the boat.

(You must be vaccinated against Covid-19 or have a negative test within 24 hours of boarding the boat. )

Sailings are twice a year - June and September.  Please see the FAQ page for more information!

Still have a question?  The lovely people at the J&E Riggin have kindly prepared this FAQ page, but please feel free to send a note if you still need an answer.

ONE OF OUR JUNE 2019 GUESTS WAS INTERVIEWED ABOUT HER EXPERIENCE - YOU CAN READ ALL ABOUT IT HERE .
